Many pharmacological interventions act primarily according to drug exposure even though physiological requirements change across time, tissue and biological state. Target engagement alone therefore does not establish the physiological state an intervention will create.

Aeviant investigates whether small molecules can restore or reinforce endogenous regulation where the mechanism permits. This is a physiology-led research position, not a demonstrated capability.

Aeviant’s research is currently founder-led, computational and discovery-stage. Computational methods support target characterization, hypothesis generation and prioritization; they are not evidence that a molecule binds or functions in a living system.
