Immanuel Martins

Immanuel Martins founded Aeviant Biosciences to investigate small-molecule mechanisms whose activity depends more closely on biological context. He leads the company’s scientific strategy, computational research, and program development.

His background spans computational systems and pharmacy. While completing pharmacy technician education and gaining experience in community and hospital pharmacy settings, he became interested in the gap between target-level descriptions of drugs and the system-level effects that emerge through signalling pathways, feedback mechanisms, and real medication use.

He subsequently built independent computational workflows for molecular modelling and drug design. That work became the foundation of Aeviant. His research is organized around first-principles reasoning, explicit evidence classification, and predefined criteria for advancing, redirecting, or stopping a program.
